Hi Everyone, finding it very sad that the forum is closing down ,I havent posted in a long time but always looked forward to checking the cams and the forum everyday, It was nice to read what others had been doing. I used to like Margarets posts about the goings on in her garden, I notice you dont post much now probably due to your health problems, I hope you are keeping well Margaret. you were the first person to welcome me to the site. Hope you have a nice holiday at Denbury in October. I also enjoyed Karens posts telling us about Jordan, her dogs and the foxes she feeds. Like you I will be devastated when it goes,I do hope the cams will continue. I found this website 3 years ago and as I dont get get out much and suffer from depression I have found it a great comfort and I believe a lot of others on the forum have as well. I think with the diary and the gallery going it probably didnt help also a certain person has made some people a bit wary of posting. I know Mr Farmer is a very busy man , and I thank him for all the enjoyment he has given us over the years also thank you for the diary update about thornton and the cider press, I love reading about thonton and his exploits. Its just a pity someone else couldnt do the forum and updates for you. I would love to visit Denbury sometime and see all the animals you have talked about. And perhaps taste some of your cider. Thank you again Mr and Mrs Farmer for all your hard work and I wish you all the best for the future. Well I am starting to ramble on now so I would just like to say thank you everyone I have enjoyed reading all of your posts and I wish you all the best for the future. I am leaving my E-Mail address with Mr Farmer if anyone wishes to contact me you are more than welcome.

Laura, A lot of us are not good with computers and are getting old so don't worry, you're not on your own. So glad you found the courage. Keep at it and keep your eye on what happens here. Pat from North Wales.

I am sure we would have got a reprieve with the Forum if more posted, and maybe Mr Farmer would have reconsidered, i havent given up hope till the fat lady sings. I have done all but prayed i can tell you.
I am truly devastated its coming to an end. Karen Stoke

I have been watching this forum and the cams for a few years now and have really enjoyed seeing bloggers. I haven't had the courage till now. I'm not good with computers and getting old.
After reading whats going on I think its very sad the forum is closing. I have really enjoyed reading what everyone has to say. I only wish I had had the courage to post a long time ago.

Betty, Mary from Llandudno is right. I think other people are waiting to see what Mr. Farmer decides to do on Sunday before they say they would be interested in your idea and I'm sure there will be some who are interested. Please give them a couple of days. Pat from North Wales.

Ladies I also looked in on the nest earlier there were 2 chicks in the nest both snuggled down ready for bed!

I like most of you do wish Mr Farmer would reconsider his decision and keep the forum open for wildlife comments and to wish forumers a Happy Birthday.
It is the start and end of my day also I check out what I have missed whilst I am work as it is not possible for me to get online at work. I love to know what I have missed and wish I didn't have to work and could sit here all day watching the cams.Sorry Mr Farmer costs would def go up. Never mind school hols soon so I can do that!
Sue Middlesex: (I think sorry if I'm wrong) you commented on postings not being allowed I have had posting not allowed by Mr Farmer and have taken no offence at this as I have said something that he must have disagreed with. It does say that all comments must be approved before they are added. Elaine

I was watching the badgers and a fox for a while so when I looked at the nest I could only see one chick. there are 2 now so perhaps the other was off screen on the left side mary llandudno

Mr Farmer thank you very much for the entry on the diary, it was lovely to hear about Thornton, I am sure that when the cold weather returns he will be knocking at your door again. I am feeling very sad tonight as I know that I wont be able to log on and read the entries on the forum ever again.
I would like to say again, thank you Mr Farmer for all your hard work with the forum, the cams and the diary. Goodbye, good health and happiness to Mr and Mrs Farmer and all on the forum. Val Perth

BETTY I posted this morning on the owls as I was watching while waiting for someone to call, after they had gone I had my lunch and was out until teatime. Ive only just read the other posts including yours. I think that I and other people are hoping that Mr Farmer may reconsider closing the forum on sunday , however should he not change his mind then others may be interested in your idea. leave it for a day and see if anyone else is interested mary llandudno

I don't blog very often but I feel quite sad that I will not be able to read what people put on this forum anymore after Sunday. I log in several times a day whilst I am at work (secretly) and I love reading about all the goings on whether it's to do with nature or not. It just gives you an idea of peoples personalaties, whats going on in their lives, their views on nature etc. Yes, maybe the forum did stray away from the "subject" intended but, that's what us humans do. We always bang on about the weather saying "it's to hot" or, "When's the sun gonna shine". It's what we do, it gives us an in sight into the people behind the blogging. That's what builds the picture for me and it gives an insight into what you are all like!

Maybe I have blogged out of turn but, I think that is what it is all about, finding out what you all like about nature as well as your "personal" lives.

Wow thanks for the diary Mr Farmer, quite like old times.

Can almost smell the cider already. Good luck with the process of the wall etc. regards to everyone.

Sorry no-one is interested in the blog. I know I am not a brit now but was only trying to find an alternative to keep everyone together. This will be my last post. Good health and good luck to everyone.
